This congress organized by the Basque Culinary Center and the Corazón Verde Foundation, took place on May 24 and 25, 2017 in Bogotá.
On the first day, Latin American and Spanish chefs such as Jorge Rausch, Kurt Schmidt, Edgar Núñez and Pepe Solla offered demonstrations and workshops and exchanged opinions on topics such as entrepreneurship, creativity or identity.
During the second day, chefs closely linked to the territory and its food heritage, such as Tomas Rueda and Jennifer Rodríguez, talked about market cuisine. The event closed with a round table with the participation of María Fernanda Di Giacobbe, winner of the first edition of the Basque Culinary World Prize, and Leonor Espinosa, on the transformative power of gastronomy.
